Solidarity Against Disability Discrimination mourns the passing of Alice Wong, who never hid her body with countless tubes and used text-to-speech apps to make the world aware of the existence and rights of people with disabilities.
In her writings, she spoke of SADD’s ongoing struggles, which show the existence of people with disabilities, and expressed solidarity with the Korean disability rights movement, affirming that people with disabilities are changing the world, even if the world does not see it.
